004 — How we choose

We keep what we actually use.

A gadget that works is easy. Almost all of them work, for a week.

The harder question is whether you still reach for it in March, after buying it in December. Most things do not survive that — not because they break, but because they turn out to be boring.

So we don't ask whether a thing works. We ask whether we kept using it. Everything above is something we did. Each one says what it's for, and who should skip it — because a recommendation that excludes nobody isn't a recommendation.

005 — Questions

Before you ask.

How does 2 + 1 work?

Add any three gadgets to your basket. The cheapest of the three drops to zero at checkout automatically. No code, no minimum beyond the three items.

How much is shipping?

Nothing. Free on every order, no threshold.

How long does delivery take?

Stated honestly on each product page, because it varies by item and by where you are. We'd rather tell you eight days up front than promise two and miss.

What if I don't like it?

Send it back within 30 days. If we recommended something that disappointed you, that's our mistake to fix, not yours to argue about.

Do I need an account?

No. Checkout as a guest with card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal.
